







Our company’s “ComiX ALEX Series Ultralight Vulcanizing Machine,” also known as a “Belt Vulcanizing Machine” or “Conveyor Belt Joint Vulcanizing Machine,” is characterized by its “ultra-light weight” and “ultra-fast cooling.” It’s a specialized electric heating auxiliary machine used when rubber conveyor belts are damaged during long-distance material transport. It’s primarily used for “joint bonding” and “partial repair” of rubber belts. Its core function is to achieve high-quality belt connections under precise control of the three key elements of vulcanization (temperature, pressure, and time). Its main feature is its “ultra-light weight,” meaning that while maintaining performance, the equipment’s weight is significantly reduced through new materials and processes, making it easier to handle and operate on-site.
Main Characteristics of the conveyor belt vulcanizing machine:
1. Core Function: Hot Vulcanizing Bonding of Belts: Primarily suitable for hot vulcanizing joints of various rubber conveyor belts, including canvas, nylon, steel cord, and flame-retardant special-purpose belts. The joint strength can reach over 99% of the original belt strength. Widely used in the installation and emergency repair of conveyors in mining, power plants, ports, metallurgy, building materials, and other fields.
2. Precise Heating and Temperature Control: Employing a 2mm silicone-insulated electric heating blanket and an ultra-lightweight aluminum alloy heating plate, its core component converts electrical energy into microwaves, which are then gradually converted into heat energy through high-frequency vibration and friction. This maintains the working surface temperature difference at approximately 0 degrees Celsius, ensuring excellent temperature uniformity. The heating speed is rapid, typically reaching the vulcanization temperature (145℃) from room temperature in just 15-25 minutes. Efficiency is 30%-50% higher than older models, with significant energy savings. It does not leak electricity when submerged in water and is theoretically undamaged by non-human factors, allowing for unlimited use without maintenance.
3. Uniform Pressure Application: Using a pure rubber pressure bag, overall surface pressure is applied. During belt vulcanization, the expansion pressure is more uniform, with a 0mm gap for a tight fit against the heating plate. Under high pressure, this better melts and fuses the belt joint, resulting in greater flexibility and strength.
4. Rapid Cooling: The split-type water cooling function can rapidly cool the heating plate of the electric blanket within minutes, instantly and evenly cooling the belt joint area where the entire aluminum plate is pressed, dissipating heat and completely solidifying the rubber inside and out under high pressure.
5. Automated Control: Equipped with a dedicated intelligent temperature control box, it can automatically monitor and complete the entire vulcanization process of “heating-heat preservation-cooling”. It has multiple safety protection functions such as overload, short circuit, and leakage protection.
- Lightweight and Portable: This is its signature feature. Through ultra-thin, ultra-light, maintenance-free materials such as the electric blanket and pressure bag, “custom-made according to customer needs”, the overall weight is reduced by approximately 30% to 50% compared to traditional vulcanizing machines, facilitating manual handling and assembly and operation in complex spaces such as underground mines, tunnels, or high places.
